Back in London in 2003, Steve had the chance to go back out and support his old friends Faster Pussycat on a UK Tour and quickly pulled together a rag tag band of musical acquaintances soon christened, The X-iDolls.

Despite the plan to simply do the tour and nothing else, like a runaway train an album's worth of material soon came together alongside a host of other shows including supports with Tuuli and The Quireboys (and we won't mention getting kicked off a Hanoi Rocks tour for being too rock'n'roll!).

An EP was recorded early on with the album put together in late Summer 2003 but sadly the band was never destined to last and disintegrated before the end of that year, with the album never to see the light of day.....

I loved some of these first time around, some I was less enamoured with, but this is a great collection and some I was less then enamoured about are now transformed for example Thunderfuck and Bang! Tom take the money is as glorious as ever. Andy Castledine
